Wayne Tower
Wayne has over 20 years of experience within the Australian commercial banking & insurance premium funding industries. He started his career with NAB in personal & commercial banking before joining Macquarie Bank in 2005.
Throughout his 11 years at Macquarie Bank, Wayne progressed through several relationship management and business development roles to ultimately have responsibility for Business Banking’s commercial real estate segment. Wayne then led the development of the Healthcare segment for Business Banking which saw him promoted to Division Director in 2016.
Wayne joined Macquarie Premium Funding in 2016 as General Manager Sales where he was responsible for a team of 30 across Australia and New Zealand. As a member of the Executive Team he played an important role in re-branding the business to IQumulate Premium Funding in 2019.
Wayne is now the Chief Executive Officer of IQumulate where he is responsible for the financial and operating performance of the business as well as building and maintaining a culture of positive teamwork and an environment aligned to business success.
Norman Uranie
Prior to joining IQumulate, Norman was the Management Accountant for Europcar Mobility Group (Australia / New Zealand) for 8 years, where he developed his accounting and finance skills across different roles within the finance team.
Norman joined Macquarie Premium Funding in 2015 as a Financial Accountant before progressing to Financial Controller 8 months later. He was an integral part of the team during the transition from Macquarie Premium Funding to IQumulate, specifically with the implementation of the securitisation process and operational banking and finance process. His current role as Head of Finance involves management of the company’s financial functions, including compliance, budgeting and forecasting, audit and financial reporting.
Tricia Kopka
Tricia has over 20 years of experience in leading Operations teams across multiple sectors, predominantly Banking and Financial Services.
During Tricia’s 10 years at Macquarie Bank, she predominately worked within Business Banking, managing multiple and varied teams, across Australia. Tricia joined Macquarie Pacific Funding in 2013 as the Operations Manager for Australia and New Zealand, responsible for approximately 35 staff, in end to end operations teams.
Tricia has played a role in rebranding the business to IQumulate Premium Funding and in 2019 and was promoted to Operations Manager and Project Specialist. Since then, Tricia has been a member of the IQumulate Leadership team, responsible for leading the loan origination teams and working on core strategic projects to enhance processes within IQumulate.
Stephen McMillan
Stephen first entered the Financial Services Industry when he joined GE Capital as a Finance Analyst in 2008, from which he progressed through roles working both on and offshore. From there, Stephen moved into Pacific Premium Funding as a Financial Planning and Analysis leader in 2012 and was a key resource in the evolution of the business, firstly with the successful sale to Macquarie Pacific Funding and then the following progression into IQumulate Premium Funding where Stephen is now Head of Treasury.
Stephen leads a team that is responsible for commercial analysis, management and business support, identifying and reporting improvement initiatives, and the securitization and treasury function of the business.
Graeme Gordon
Recently appointed, Graeme Gordon, is our new Head of Sales for Australia and New Zealand. Graeme joined MPF in 2017 as an Account Manager and was promoted to Relationship Manager in 2019. He was then promoted again to the role of Manager-NZ, at the start of 2020.
Graeme has led from the front in New Zealand since his commencement through achieving exceptional growth year on year and collaborating effectively across departments and on many projects.
Most recently Graeme was invited to participate as a member of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT) in recognition of what he has achieved and, in that process, provide his insights for IQumulate’s long-term direction. We're excited to see great things ahead with his thoughts and visions for IQumulate's strategic direction across both markets.

Wai-Lum Tang
Head of Information Technology
Wai-Lum has close to 20 years of experience within the retail, property, construction, funds management and tele-radiology industries. He joined Macquarie Bank in 2019 as part of the Macquarie Pacific Funding divestment, to lead the technology stream of works. This included the creation of all new technology services for the IQumulate business.
Wai-Lum has led many transformation projects in his career, and brings with him a pragmatic and entrepreneur leadership style.
Brett Bastow
Brett studied at Curtin University in Perth where he acquired his Bachelor of Commerce double majoring in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and has over 10 years’ experience as a HR professional working across multiple industries.
Prior to joining the Steadfast Group, Brett worked at Sonic Clinical Services (SCS), the primary healthcare division of top 50 ASX Sonic Healthcare. During his tenure at SCS, he was focused on delivering operational centric solutions across all aspects of Human Resources including WHS across it 3000 multisite workforce.
Brett joined IQumulate in 2019 from the Steadfast Group as the Head of Human Resources where he is responsible for the full gambit of HR in IQ’s drive to be a great place, for great people to do great work.
Thierry Pascal
Thierry has over 13 years of experience in Business and Corporate Banking in various financial/credit analytical and relationship management roles with the NAB & CBA.
After a career break to undertake post graduate studies, Thierry joined GE Capital as a senior risk analyst in premium funding in 2010. Following the divestment of the premium funding business to the Macquarie Group in 2015, Thierry joined Macquarie Premium Funding and was promoted to Credit Risk Manager where he led the credit underwriting team.
Following the re-branding to IQumulate Premium Funding, Thierry was promoted to Head of Credit & Legal. A role which sees him manage the credit underwriting team as well as oversee IQumulate in house legal function.
Thierry holds undergraduate and post graduate tertiary qualifications in Accounting and Law.
Cemal Akgul
Cemal sees the Head of Risk & Collections role as pivotal in guiding and influencing business decisions. Cemal has more than 15 years’ experience across financial and government During Cemal’s tenure at BMW Finance, he predominately worked in Risk Management guiding the organisation out of seismic changes between 2016 and 2018. In his time prior, Cemal was services, most recently with the NDIS where he was the leading consultant driving the Risk Management process’ nationwide. Prior to that, he served various roles at BMW Finance across the United States, Hong Kong, Germany, and Australia. Based out of New York, he led BMW Finance’s, American subsidiary in market risk and data analytics teams between 2011 and 2016.
